Shape the Future of Human Services: Nominate Yourself or a Colleague for the FFTA Board of Directors
Do you know someone who is ready to make a lasting impact on the future of human service systems? Or maybe you are that person who can help lead the way in supporting families, communities, and the dedicated individuals who work directly with them?
Serving on the FFTA Board of Directors offers a unique opportunity to influence policy, innovate practices, and drive change across North America, all while collaborating with a dynamic and diverse group of peers. This is more than just a role—it's a chance to lead, inspire, grow professionally, and be part of something bigger.
We are seeking nominations for up to five director positions on the FFTA board. We invite nominations of individuals employed by or closely affiliated with FFTA member organizations to step forward and join us in this pivotal work.
CHAMPIONING REPRESENTATION & INCLUSION IN LEADERSHIP
At FFTA, we believe that leadership should reflect the diversity of the communities we serve. We strongly encourage nominations of individuals who will help us expand representation from groups often over-represented in child/family service systems-yet under-represented in the leadership ranks of these same systems. This includes Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC), as well as members of LGBTQIA+ communities. Your voice is essential in ensuring that our work is equitable and inclusive.
THE POWER OF LIVED EXPERIENCE
Our work is most impactful when informed by those who have personal lived experiences within the health and human services sector. We encourage nominations of individuals who bring this vital perspective, whether through their own experiences or those of their families.
SEEKING EXPERTISE TO DRIVE OUR MISSION FORWARD
To complement our existing board's strengths, we are particularly interested in leaders with expertise in fundraising, marketing/communications, public policy, or community-based mental health. Your skills and insights can help us navigate the challenges ahead and seize opportunities to further strengthen the FFTA Community and grow our collective impact.
