What we do is important, but why we do it influences all aspects of our work. Why do people become resource parents, why do they remain resource parents, and what do agencies do to motivate, engage, and support them along the way to fuel their spark?

amily Focused Treatment Association, #1659, is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved as ACE providers. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. FFTA maintains responsibility for this course. ACE provider approval period: 4/10/2022 - 4/10/2025. Social workers completing this course receive 1.25 general continuing education credits. Every attendee who attends the entire webinar will receive a certificate of attendance. In order to receive a certificate for ACE credit hours - you must attend the entire webinar and also complete an evaluation once the webinar is finished. You will be able to access your certificate online as soon as you complete the evaluation. Please check the map on the ASWB website for information on whether your state accepts ACE credit.
